Our
Story

Four chapters of CANABANGKA — from a June 2022 landing to the Ramkhamhaeng Mothership, surviving a shifting cosmos, and the truth behind the UFO mark.

The Landing

“We landed when the cosmos aligned.” On June 9, 2022, as legalization reshaped the nation, our journey instantly began. By June 12, we established our very first footprints with a pop-up space at “1 of a Kind” on Rama 9, introducing our vision to the community.

The Mothership at Ramkhamhaeng

Seeking room to grow, we moved to Ramkhamhaeng in October of the same year to build our true Mothership. It evolved beyond a dispensary into a craft greenhouse, an active community rooftop, and a place of education. We opened our doors for “Farm Tours,” inviting guests to witness our entire indoor craft process transparently — from seeding and precision harvesting to meticulous trimming and climate-controlled storage.

Surviving the Shifting Cosmos

As local regulations continuously shifted, we watched many passionate friends in the industry lose hope, face unexpected reinvestments, and ultimately fade away. Navigating the unpredictable tides was brutal, and Thailand temporarily lost its competitive global edge. Yet, CANABANGKA stood firm. We respect the law and adapt constantly, driven not by temporary trends, but by an unwavering commitment: providing medical-grade cleanliness. We survived and thrived thanks to our loyal community and travelers who appreciate our unique flavors — crafted from our own house-made plant nutrients.

“No, it's not a mushroom.”

There is a famous misconception that our logo is a vintage mushroom. In reality, it originated as a DIY UFO vector that we customized ourselves during our grassroots era. Later, Art Director Satit Tang from “The Tanggible” stepped in to give the brand its true, vibrant life. He refined our visual identity, distilled the raw elements, and transformed that initial ship into the ultra-minimalist, geometric cyberpunk UFO icon we wear proudly today.

“CANNABANGKA or CANABANGKA?”

Many who have been with us since day one often ask about the spelling shift. In our original 2022 guidelines and early artwork, we used the double 'N' — CANNABANGKA. Today, we officially operate as CANABANGKA with a single 'N'. This wasn't an accident; it was a calculated evolution. By dropping the second 'N', we streamlined our visual identity and liberated our domain from strict platform censorship, seamlessly transitioning from a literal name into an abstract, premium cyber-streetwear fashion label. Same rebellious soul, just a sharper code.
